The second Education for Health Africa Occupational Vision Screening Course in Port Elizabeth was held on 20 and 21 August 2019.
There were 3 learners; 2 familiar faces and one new one.
It was a mixed group where one was a registered nurse and the other two clinic administrative staff. Only one has done vision screening before.
The first day flew by and before we knew it, it was time to go and learn for the assessments the following day.
The training venue is a pleasure to use with a mounted data projector and a fixed sound system. The venue’s staff were as friendly as before and made us feel welcome. The food was great and I think it is the only venue where we are spoiled with the best homemade rusks and cookies.
Thank you to Lindsay and her team for bringing quality training to Port Elizabeth, even it is only a small group.
