Spirometry Refresher Workshop, Online, December 2021

It was so much fun to see old friends, colleagues and students online on our last training day of 2021 for the Education for Health Africa Spirometry refresher online course.

I facilitated the training from our offices at Kingfisher Office Park in Mount Edgecombe, Durban for 19 students from 8 countries being South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Benin, Mali, Burkina Faso and Zimbabwe. Using the Zoom platform we reviewed very aspect of the theory of spirometry focusing on how to achieve validity when testing and then the criteria for validity (acceptability and repeatability) as well as interpretation of course.

To our students, colleagues and friends on this course, thank you for joining us and thank you very much to Petro and Wilna for all the arrangements made.
