SASOHN Conference 2023

Jene and Bonita attended the SASOHN 42nd Conference, representing Education for Health Africa, where they were able to reconnect with familiar faces and engage in meaningful conversations.

They received an incredible response and support and were delighted to see so many people showing enthusiasm and curiosity about what Education for Health Africa had to offer. Jene and Bonita received messages of encouragement, positive feedback, and constructive suggestions that have inspired us to continue striving for excellence in what we do.

While at the conference Jene and Bonita had the pleasure of meeting several new learners who were just embarking on their educational journeys. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and eagerness to absorb knowledge were truly infectious. It reminded them of the boundless potential that exists within each of us when we approach learning with an open heart and mind. 

Conversely, they also had the privilege of reconnecting with familiar faces—old learners who have been on their educational paths for some time now. It was heartwarming to see how far they’ve come, the growth they’ve achieved, and the expertise they’ve developed in their respective fields. Their journeys were a testament to the idea that learning is a lifelong endeavour, and it never ceases to evolve and enrich our lives. The exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives between the new and old learners was incredibly enlightening. The old learners provided valuable insights and mentorship to the newcomers, while the fresh perspectives of the new learners invigorated the entire gathering.

The Education for Health Africa team had the privilege of tackling various challenges, seizing opportunities and learning valuable lessons along the way. The active participation, valuable insights and unwavering enthusiasm contributed to an inspiring day of learning. The energy and engagement in each session were truly remarkable.

The presence and participation of the exhibitors was an added layer of excellence and vibrancy to the event that simply would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of each person there. The booths were not just spaces; they were showcases of creativity, innovation, and passion.
