Occupational Spirometry Course April 2025

I’m thrilled to share our latest Spiro Competency Course report. Our small but mighty group of 6 students from across South Africa came together to level up their spirometry skills. We had a diverse bunch with different backgrounds and experience levels – some from Occupational Health, others new to the field. But what really stood out was the energy and enthusiasm from every single student.
Even when the cameras weren’t rolling, it was clear that everyone was all in.

As their facilitators, the EFHA team is committed to supporting these individuals on their journey to becoming competent spirometry practitioners. We know it’s not a walk in the park, but we’re confident that with our guidance and mentorship, they’ll crush their goals. To our students, we wish the very best as you continue on this journey. We’re stoked to be a part of your professional growth and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make in the field.

And to top it all off, the course wrapped up on a significant day for me – the eve of my 41st birthday (April 11th, with my actual birthday being April 12th). As they say, “life begins at 40,” so I’m definitely having a cake smash tomorrow!
