Occupational Screening Audiometry Short Course, Cape Town, March 2020

March saw us presenting our first Audiometry course in Cape Town for 2020.

There was a group of 10 learners; mostly familiar faces who did both Spirometry and Vision Screening with me earlier this year.

With COVID19 hanging like a sword over our heads (and this just before lockdown) I would like to thank my learners in helping with sanitising surfaces, equipment and their hands constantly throughout the course. We completed the course keeping everyone as safe as possible.

We had a great time learning a lot about audiometry in our time together. On day 3 we wrote the theory paper and also did practical assessments for all students.

Well done to the learners for their hard work and dedication. I am excited for these learners to get out there and test real workers for their portfolios.
