

Tapiwa is a highly motivated individual with a keen passion to share knowledge towards total health care delivery in occupational health settings. He began his career in health care management in 2008 as a Pharmaceutical Technician in which he worked in the biggest public referral hospital in Zimbabwe, followed by work in the private sector in a clinical research centre for over 6 years. Finally, Tapiwa was introduced to occupational health management in 2015 after joining one of the leading industrial clinics in Zimbabwe at a tobacco manufacturing company where he oversaw the occupational surveillance program. It is at this moment he grew an interest towards becoming a facilitator in occupational health training through Education for Health Africa.
Tapiwa’s ability to quickly grasp the technique’s required in occupational health training coupled with his passion for information sharing among his colleagues makes him a great facilitator. He has facilitated trainings before for Zimbabwe Leaf Tobacco company, NSSA and Tobacco Processors Zimbabwe.
He pays key attention to individuals needs and make sure he leaves them in a better position than they were before, so sit back relax and take in as much information you can from him. He holds certificates in conducting Spirometry, Audiometry, and Vision screening tests. He is a holder of a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management with the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (SAIOSH). Tapiwa also has a certificate in Safety, Health, and Environment Management with the Zimbabwe Institute of Management.
As a consultant he helps organisation to procure occupational health equipment from international suppliers as he is a qualified Customs Clearance Agent and a Freight Forwarder who will be willing to facilitate your purchases of occupational surveillance equipment as you seek to capacitate your occupational surveillance program to match world standards.
