I completed a comprehensive four-year graduate program in audiology, earning a BSc Honors Degree in Audiology. Specialised training in communication science and disorders equips me to work with patients experiencing hearing, balance, or other ear-related issues.
Throughout the graduate program, I gained valuable clinical experience, including observations, clinical orientation, and practical assessments. The training also involved the development of treatment plans, considering the impact of disabilities on patients and collaborating with a team of health professionals, including speech pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians.
As an Audiologist, I possess exceptional diagnostic abilities, proficiency in measuring hearing loss and identifying its underlying causes to develop tailored and effective treatment plans. My training in communication science and disorders has honed my communication skills, essential for effectively engaging with patients and collaborating within diverse healthcare teams. I am a young Audiologist who is willing to learn more so that I can expand my scope of practice.
I am deeply committed to contributing my expertise in audiology to the mission of Education For Health Africa, aiming to play a pivotal role in promoting health and education in the African region.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I have a keen interest in traveling and exploring diverse cultures. I also have a passion for reading, particularly enjoying literature that provides insights into different perspectives and experiences.
