Anstead Kankwatira is a Clinical Officer with 20 years experience as a general practitioner. Within the period, he developed interest in teaching and taught at Malamulo College of Health Sciences before joining Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Trust which is a joint collaboration between Malawi College of Medicine and University of Liverpool. He is an Endoscopy Trainer at WGO-BSG Blantyre International Training Centre where he teaches new Endoscopists. His passion for education continued after his training in spirometry and now helps in quality assurance and over-reading of spirometry done in African research. He has been involved in Clinical education throughout his career.
Anstead has a great passion for teaching and finds joy in imparting knowledge to students of all ages both in formal class and bedside. He has co-authored several research papers.
Anstead is happily married to Nellie with 3 children Victor, Vincent and Vanessa.
