This 60 notional hour, 6 credits training course is for persons who are responsible for vision screening in the occupational health setting This course is Unit Standard 11605 and pending QCTO skills programme aligned.
This training course will enable learners to be competent in:
Perform vision screening equipment quality assurance tasks
Prepare for a vision screening test
Conduct a vision screening test
Evaluate vision screening results for reliability
Interpret the vision screening result (not applicable for assistant course)
Record and report the vision screening test result (not applicable for assistant course)
Manage the vision screening test (not applicable for assistant course)
