Certificate of Competence in Occupational Audiometry Screening Short Course

Greetings to all our new EFHA learners!

On Monday, May 6th, a group of 21 learners embarked on the audiometry course. Learners from Ghana and Namibia, alongside their South African counterparts, joined online to become occupational audiometric screeners or assistants. The time spent delving into various aspects of audiometry was invaluable, aimed at making a real impact on employees’ lives and mitigating occupational noise-induced hearing loss. Anticipation is high for the practical sessions where audiometry skills will be put into practice. Gratitude goes to everyone involved in facilitating this learning opportunity. Let’s keep in mind: practice leads to perfection.
