Certificate of Competence in Occupational Audiometric Screening Short Course

Greetings to all EFHA Learners!

Learners from Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa successfully joined our blended occupational audiometric screening course.

The group included both newcomers to occupational health and experienced professionals, making for an engaging and enriching learning environment. A key focus was on the new Noise Exposure Regulation changes and the fundamentals of implementing an effective hearing conservation programme in workplaces where noise poses a significant risk.

Over the course of four interactive online Zoom sessions, learners participated in discussions, asked questions, and shared insights, creating a valuable space for collaborative learning.

The next step will be the practical training day, followed by completion of the assignment and a practical examination. We are proud to share that all participants successfully passed their theory examination – congratulations to each learner on this achievement!
